multiphysics

……. Flux provides a direct interface for connecting to designated tools to set up collaborative simulation or load transfer. It is mainly used for electromagnetic-thermal and electromagnetic-vibration-noise analysis.
Electromagnetic-Thermal Analysis
Flux can be coupled with fluid analysis tools (such as Altair AcuSolve™, ANSYS Fluent, or CD-Adap-co STAR-CCM+) for more powerful and more accurate fluid heat dissipation analysis. Thanks to its ability to support all potential thermal couplings, Flux is able to provide efficient and accurate electromagnetic-thermal analysis designs.
Vibration information is suitable for vibration suppression and noise reduction
Electromagnetic force is one of the noise sources of electromagnetic structures. Altair Flux can accurately calculate these electromagnetic forces and use them in vibration analysis tools, such as Altair OptiStructTM, LMS Virtual .Lab, MSC Nastran or ANSYS Mechanical.
Advanced system integration
Considering the electromechanical environment of electromagnetic equipment application is the key to optimizing its real performance. By extracting equivalent circuits, lookup table output or collaborative simulation methods, Flux can be combined with the system simulator Altair Activate ‘”Coupling, establishing system models with different levels of accuracy for different design requirements. Flux also supports coupling with other system analysis tools, including MatLab Simulink and LMS Imagine.Lab Amesim.
Automation of the analysis process

Optimization
Using Altair’s powerful and reliable optimization tool Altair HyperStudyTM can enhance the Flux function and automatically drive the Flux finite model to conduct parameter optimization research, greatly improving design gains.
