FLUX 2 SIMULINK Cosimulation tutorial

FLUX 2 SIMULINK Cosimulation tutorial

Preface: I always want to learn FLUX 2 SIMULINK Cosimulation tutorial in my spare time, but I always encounter various problems after trying many times with examples and suggestions from you. This version also lists them. The official tutorials, FAQs and explanations from seniors are not very detailed, and cannot explain all the problems clearly. After many attempts, I finally summarized some experience and wrote it here for your reference.
===================================================================
Installation environment: 64-bit WIN7 operating system
                 x64 FLUX11.1.1
                 x64 Matlab 2011a
(The two software versions must be consistent, and the years should not be too different to avoid incompatibility. 2013a is not acceptable. In addition, the software bit number must be consistent x64/x86)
===============================================================================

1. Establish links between software

1. Matlab > File > Set path > Add Folder > x:\Cedrat\flux11.1\….\coupling\simulink

2. Generate .F2MS file

1. Open FLUX2D modeling

2. Select transient magnetic field

3. Set the physical quantity that interacts with simulink and express it in the form of variables

        3.1 The physical quantity of Flux is controlled by simulink, and the variable type is Parameter for multiphysical application

        3.2 Physical quantities output from FLUX to Simulink, the variable type is Parameter defined by a formula

4. Generate .F2MS file4.1

        solving > generate component for simulink…..

3. Create .mdl file

1. Open Flux supervisor and click simulink

2. Open simulink and create a new mdl file

3. The internal parameters of flux coupling set the location of the .F2MS file you generated in the previous step

4. Set simulation time and step size (fixed step size)

5. Completed
